Take a minute and watch this video of the subfloor product we have used for years! I always knew this product was great! Years ago, we were building a house and were framing the walls. I spilled a soft drink on the Advantech® subfloor. It puddled up and stayed there all day without soaking into the wood. At that point, I was sold. It is almost impossible to get new construction under roof (dried in) without it getting rained on (or snowed on, depending on the season). Old fashioned plywood subfloors can delaminate or swell causing difficulties when it comes time to lay hardwood, ceramic tile, or vinyl flooring. In the day when carpet was more common, this was not much of an issue. Today there are many new products, such as Advantech®, that enhance the quality of the final product.
